Hey everybody… we’re still here in Buenos Aires… just went to a play (performed in Spanish) last night. Before you get impressed, please know that I understood the following three words:

1. puto = bitch
2. mierda = shit
3. zapatos = shoes

… and nothing else. Meghan understood a great deal more, so save your praise for her. However, in our Tango classes - that takes teamwork. We have taken two 3-hour classes now and can do some basic steps without too much toe injury. We are convinced that the problems we still have are all due to the fact that we are trying to dance in trail running shoes. Practical for backpacking around bus stations but terrible for pivots on the dance floor. Yeah, it must be the shoes. Meghan drooled over some of the $80 (that’s dollars, not pesos) tango shoes and I thought some of the ones for guys were pretty swish too. But we’re sticking to the budget. Yep - kinda.
