Rendezvous with Alex and family

We walked with the Settles and friends to Castellers practice. There are Castellers events in Barcelona in which neighborhoods compete to build the tallest human castle. The record now is 10 layers of people. We got to see the Sagrada Familia team (that Alex and his son Ben are on) practice. I even got to participate and was able to help support and move 3 story towers despite instructions in Catalan. Meanwhile Meghan chatted with the teenage participants and learned all about going to school in Barcelona. After practice Mary made us a lovely dinner, and we ended the day with a night cap at a Columbian bar.
