Got up early as usual, got a cab to Estacio de l’Autobus Nord where we caught the bus to Girona. Flight was no problem, caught another bus from Charleroi to Gare du Midi. It took me a while to figure out how to get to Gare Central - we ended up taking the metro out of our way and changing lines but we got there. Read the rest of this entry »





Monserrat

Today we went to Montserrat, a monestary that was built where an image of the Virgin Mary was seen on rock. Hiked around a bit but when a scout group arrived to do some rock climbing, we got out of there. They took out a rock drill and started drilling the rock right next to the saint shrine! Getting to Scotland

Woke up, grabbed our shit and through the cab windows, watched people still stumbling out of the bars at 4 a.m. Traffic was ok. Got to Dublin airport and stood in awe at the amazing lines already that early in the morning.

Had hostel’s continental breakfast and headed for the tourism office where the gal quickly whisked us off to a van that was leaving that second.
