Hi Meghan and Steve,

It sounds like you are surrounded by wonderfully caring people and that helps to ease our minds.

Steve, thank you so much for the journal. We really appreciate the details of the evacuation. If you run into our daughter, Kathleen OBrien (a G8), please tell her we miss and love her.

Meghan, Steve,

We're very concerned about your welfare and relieved to hear you are all safe. The Peace Corps does a great job getting their volunteers out of hot spots, but I can well understand how wrenching it is. Take care and know that your friends in ICS are thinking of you.

All our good wishes,

Eileen

Thank you so much for the update! I saw the post on the Peace Corps website that all of the volunteers and trainees had been relocated. I'm so glad that you two are safe and hope things can get back to "normal" as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update, Steve. We've been constantly wondering about you guys since the conflict began. Good to hear you're safe, and we're hoping to hear the same about your Georgian host family and all the friends you've made.

Thanks for the thorough report. I had been looking for evacuation info since Saturday and finally your post showed up. I was a G3 in 2003-2004 during the Rose Revolution. We were on stand fast then, but fortunately things went back to normal.

Good luck!
